Hazard awareness

Real-time hazard information from 45+ data feeds across 25+ sources, on one map. Each event names the agency it came from. Keryx does not issue warnings — always follow instructions from your local officials.

Offline maps

Download the regions that matter to you in the Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux apps. Paid plans download as many regions as you need; the trial includes 3. In the web app, maps stream from the Internet rather than being stored.

Routing and navigation

Routes are calculated on your device in the Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux apps, across the regions you have downloaded — no connection needed. Routing is not available in the web app.

Storms, space weather and Labs

Storms

Tropical storm tracks and forecast cones from the National Hurricane Center, winter storm areas, and avalanche advisories.

Space weather

Kp index and history, aurora visibility, incoming coronal mass ejections, solar flares and solar wind, from NOAA SWPC and NASA DONKI.

Labs

A research section for paid subscribers. Most Labs experiments are still in development, and everything in Labs is marked experimental — not for emergency decisions.

About Labs

Family sharing

On a Family plan, share pin lists with the 4 people you invite. Shared pins are end-to-end encrypted; Keryx stores data it cannot read.

Encrypted sync

Optional sync keeps your pins, routes and trips on all your devices. Data is encrypted with AES-GCM-256 using a key derived on your device from your passphrase (PBKDF2). Keryx cannot decrypt it. Set it up or turn it off in Settings.

Privacy architecture

We don't track where you go

Our servers do not receive your GPS coordinates or build a movement history. Map and routing location work happens on your device.

What you save is yours

Routes, trips and pins you choose to save are stored on your device — and, if you turn on sync, end-to-end encrypted. Saving a plan is not the same as being tracked.

What we do keep

Account, subscription and referral information, and which map regions you have downloaded so alerts can be matched to them. No third-party trackers; crash reporting can be switched off.

From Settings you can request a copy of your data, delete your data, or delete your account.
